How do I link my partner?
You each install Whatever on your own phone. On the home screen tap Link partner, then share your code or type in theirs with I have a code.
Codes stop working after 48 hours; the app gives you a new one when you ask. Each person can be in one couple at a time. Joining another couple deletes the dinners and places saved in your current one.
What if my partner does not answer?
When you start a night, your partner gets a notification (if they turned notifications on). If they have not voted after 10 minutes, we send a reminder.
After 30 minutes the person who started the night can Go solo and swipe alone. Either of you can cancel a night at any time.
We voted differently. What happens?
If one of you votes Home and the other Out, or anyone votes Whatever, the deck mixes 15 restaurants near you and open now with 15 dishes to cook or order. The first card you both say yes to decides.
What if we don’t match?
At the end of the deck you both see two options: 30 more cards (never repeating anything from that night) or Spin the roulette, which picks from your 3 closest calls. The first tap counts for both of you.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Go to Settings and tap Export my data. You get a file with everything we hold about you, ready to save or share.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and tap Delete account. It happens straight away. See what is deleted and what is kept.
Where do restaurants and opening hours come from?
Restaurants near you come from OpenStreetMap, and photos and ratings of the winning restaurant from Google. Opening hours can be wrong, so check before you go.
Is it safe for my allergies?
Whatever keeps the allergens you mark out of your deck, but dish and restaurant suggestions are ideas, not advice. Always check ingredients with the restaurant or the recipe.
